Name: Most know me as Jen
Where is your estate? I spend time in both New Jersey and Virginia- depending on whether college is in session
Are you single or married? As single as they come
May we enquire after your family? Why, of course you may! When not in school, I live with my mother, father, and my little brother who, like all middle schoolers, is quite moody.
What are your accomplishments? My highest accomplishment would be art. I am actually a Design & Illustration major. I also enjoy writing and have a few little drabbles posted on the internet. I've been told I have a pleasant voice as well, but at the moment I'm just an avid car singer.
What are your feelings on dancing? It's not something I do if I don't have to. It takes me a while to get onto a dance floor, but once I'm there I can be perfectly content. I'm definitely not the most coordinated person.
What think you of books? I love books and I tend to devote more time and money to them than I should. I'm a fan of Victorian gothic works, Austen, psychological thrillers, and- at the moment- Neil Gaiman.
How would you react to a slight against either yourself or your family/acquaintances? I'd be rather upset, though I probably wouldn't let anyone know. I tend to try to hide things under a sunny disposition and only let trusted friends know what I truly think.
Do you consider the forms of introduction, and the stress that is laid upon them, as nonsense? Well, I tend to stress over the first impression I give people- even though I'm much more forgiving when in comes to my first impressions of others.
The country is a vast deal pleasanter (than the town), is it not? Only in moderation. I do love having all my amenities close by... yet I love to spend a bit of time in the country.
Tell us something of your character: I'm the type of person who immediately gets labelled as "the quiet one" by those who don't know me. I tend to be rather private for some reason. However, once I get to know someone, I never shut up. I also have a horrible tendency to try not to hurt anyone's feelings... even if what I really want to do is scream at them.
Are you consulting your own feelings in the present application, or do you imagine that you are gratifying ours? I am consulting my own feelings- though if I gratify yours in the process, that's wonderful too.
Which character would you most like to be considered similar to? Well, as much as I'd love to say Elizabeth... that's probably far from the truth.
Which character do you truly feel that you are most similar to? I honestly don't know... which is, of course, why I've left myself open to your judgement!
You may include a picture of yourself, provided that you are appropriately attired to be viewed in company.
